Description: This database provides full-text coverage of more than 1,050 periodicals dating back as far as 1984. In addition, there is indexing with abstracts available for about 2,200 titles. The periodicals included cover general news, business, science, health, education, and many more. The database also includes about 35 reference books (e.g., World Almanac and Book of Facts, American Heritage Dictionary) and an image collection of more than 188,000 photos, maps and flags. There is a list of periodicals included with dates of coverage and whether or not full text is available.
Use: MasterFILE is very useful for many types of school assignments as well as for individuals looking for an article in a magazine we no longer have or for which we don't have a subscription.
Access: This database is available on all library computers. It's accessible from home for EPL cardholders.
