Description: Sorkins provides information on businesses and government entities in three metropolitan areas: Chicago, Kansas City, and St. Louis.
Users can search, sort, view and print company profiles which include company name, address, phone, fax, web site and e-mail, sales, employee size, years in business, multiple contact names and more. Search variables include zip code, city, county, state, area code, sales, employee size, industry, years in business, and keyword.
Use: This database can be used for activities such as job-hunting, finding sales leads, producing business lists, and networking.
Access: This database is available on all library computers. Unfortunately, it's not accessible from home.
