Library Reopens for Browsing on January 25, 2021

Published Friday, January 22, 2021

We are pleased to let you know that with the announcement that our region is moving to Tier 2 mitigations, we will be able to reopen our doors to you. This is a “walkthrough reopening” which means that we are asking you to limit your time in the library to 30 minutes or less to give others the opportunity to use our resources.

The hours we will be open to the public are Monday 9 - 6pm, Tuesday 9-7pm, Wednesday - Friday 9 - 6pm, and Saturday 9-5pm.

We are offering limited services to reduce contact and close interactions due to COVID-19. Meeting room and conference room reservations will not be available, and all programming will remain virtual.

Masks are required to be worn by patrons ages 2 and up. If you cannot wear a mask or are unable to, you can still request library material through our curbside services. You can place hold requests through our online catalog, by calling the library at 692-7556, or by emailing us at info@edwpl.org.

Also, please note that we are unable to accept any book donations until further notice.

Please delay your visit to the library if you or a family member have traveled outside our area in the last 14 days in order to protect staff and patrons. The situation is fluid, and we may need to change our plans on short notice. We ask for your patience during this time as we keep the health and welfare of our patrons and staff as our top priority. If you have questions or need assistance, feel free to call us at 618-692-7556 or email us at info@edwpl.org.
