Earliest memory of being in a library?
When I was about 10 years old, I used to go to the library, primarily to do essays/homework related to history and geography. (I didn’t have computer back then.)
Favorite book genre
Mystery, fantasy and cookbooks : )
Would you rather only be able to whisper or only able to shout?
Whisper. I talk a bit loud sometimes and I don’t like it.
What is your favorite aspect of working at the library?
I like to see the patrons leaving the library satisfied. Helping them to find what they’re looking for and leave with what they need, makes me feel accomplished.
What’s your favorite word?
Saudade ( /saʊˈdɑːdə/) is often associated with a repressed understanding that one might never encounter the object of longing ever again. It is a recollection of feelings, experiences, places, or events, often elusive, that cause a sense of separation from the exciting, pleasant, or joyous sensations they once caused. Defined by Duarte Nunes Leão as “Memory of something with a desire for it”.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
I like baking, reading, watching movies and series, and observing the critters in my backyard (mostly groundhogs one of which I've named Totone).

It’s the most welcoming place in the city, especially if you're new in town. You’ll find good company here. 📖
