I started working at EPL September 2024.
Earliest memory of being in a library?
My earliest memory in a library was sometime in middle school when my mom took me and my sister to the library on our reservation. We were so excited by all the books and immediately found ones we wanted to read so my mom got a library card that day for us.
Favorite book genre/favorite book?
While my favorite genre is horror, my favorite book is Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury. It may not be all spooky but is has its moments.
Would you rather only be able to whisper or only able to shout?
I’m already a soft talker so only whispering wouldn’t be the biggest leap.
What is your favorite aspect of working at the library?
I love being surrounded by the calm chaos that a building full books bring.
What’s your favorite word?
I tend to like sharp sounding words with s’s and t’s like shatter, silent, and satisfying.
How do you like to spend your time outside of work?
I, as you’d expect, read quite a bit. Also a big fan of movies and certain artistic endeavors. Namely painting, drawing, and beadwork, the latter I hope to bring to the library soon.

I would rather talk like Yoda. Bad it be not.
