Sadly, just 1

How many items are on your hold list?

Only 1

The Hobbit
What book can you read again and again without losing interest? Why do you still read it?

The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkein. The world building and storytelling are just so immersive that I want to never leave.

If you were stranded on a desert island, what single genre of books would you want with you?

Fantasy, there just so many places you can go to get lost.

What is your favorite book format (book, audio, mp3, e-reader, etc.)?

I love the weight and texture of a real book although I have been known to occasionally listen to an audiobook.

What is your favorite aspect of working at the library?

The people. I love seeing and interacting with all the people. I enjoy the stories and getting to know everyone.

Morris the moose goes to school
What is your guilty reading (or listening) pleasure?

Bill the Galactic Hero by Harry Harrison. The book is just completely absurd. I love it.

What books do you feel guilty for not having read?

War and Peace, I have tried and tried and tried but I just can’t do it.

Have your reading habits changed since working at the library? If so, how?

Slightly, I have tried branching out into genres that I don’t normally read in order to better help our patrons.

What is your perfect reading environment?

My screened in porch on a crisp fall day with some tea and good breeze.

What was your favorite children’s book when you were a child? What is your favorite children’s book now?

Moose Goes to School was a favorite of mine as a kid. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
