How long have you worked at the library?
I started in June so I think that makes it three months.
How many items do you have checked out right now?
None
How many items are on your hold list?
Just one and I probably won’t get it for a while :(
What book can you read again and again without losing interest? Why do you still read it?
I love reading Misery by Stephen King. Even though I know what happens, the intense scenes will still make me squirm in fear!
What is your favorite book format (book, audio, mp3, e-reader, etc.)?
I love having a physical copy of the story I’m reading because then I feel accomplished when I finally finish it and close it shut :)
What is your favorite aspect of working at the library?
I love being able to help people find a book that they were searching high and low for but just couldn’t find it. Then we both get excited that we found it!
What books do you feel guilty for not having read?
I sort of feel guilty about not reading the Lord of the Rings series, but also, it’s super long!
Have your reading habits changed since working at the library? If so, how?
Well, now I actually read again haha. I haven’t really read for fun since high school.
What is your perfect reading environment?
Probably a rainy day where I’m sitting next to a window and no one else is there.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what single genre of books would you want with you?
I guess I would want fantasy books, so I wouldn’t have to think about being stranded on an island lol.
What was your favorite children’s book when you were a child? What is your favorite children’s book now?
My grandma had this book that was titled “Through the Green Gate”
and I would FIGHT with the other kids to get it to read again.
Now I guess my favorite children’s book is Grimm’s Fairytales. And
I don’t fight anyone for it!
