How long have you worked at the library?

Just over two months!

How many items do you have checked out right now?

9 items (10 if you include my e-books)

How many items are on your hold list?

None, I just got a bunch all at once though!

Eragon
What book can you read again and again without losing interest? Why do you still read it?

I can read the entire Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini anytime. It was one of the first fantasy novels I read that had dragons, and I love it to this day.

What is your favorite book format (book, audio, mp3, e-reader, etc.)?

I prefer being able to hold my book.

What is your favorite aspect of working at the library?

Being able to meet so many people, and help them find things that they are interested in. I love being helpful, and helping others find resources that they otherwise might not have known about is really fulfilling.

What aspects of the library do you think are underutilized?

I think that there are a lot of internet resources that the library provides that could be really helpful. I really love using Creative Bug for my personal projects, and I have been trying to recommend it to anyone that will listen!

What books do you feel guilty for not having read?

I haven’t read Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. Everyone says it’s amazing, and I just can’t bring myself to read it yet. Maybe someday!

Harry potter
Have your reading habits changed since working at the library? If so, how?

I have definitely been reading more, at least a book a week, and yet somehow I haven’t made any progress on my reading list. I see books I want to take home every day, and I just can’t read them all!

What is your perfect reading environment?

I love feeling cozy, so if I can have some slippers, a big blanket and a cup of tea or cocoa I am ready for a good couple hours with a good book.

What was your favorite children’s book when you were a child? What is your favorite children’s book now?

I loved the Harry Potter books as a little girl, and I have to say I still love them!
