Glen-Ed pantry provides food and donated clothing and household items to persons in need within the Edwardsville School District in Madison County, Illinois.

The food assistance includes, produce, meat products, hygiene, and cleaning products. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are recommended (click link below to sign up today).

Clothing and housewares are provided at the second hand shop, Second Chance, which is located in the pantry and open to the public.

The requirement for assistance is that you must live in Edwardsville School District, bring bill/document with name and address on it.

EPL Adult Services provides a bi-monthly technology drop-in at the community center where seniors in need of help with phones, laptops, or any other electronic questions can come by, no appointment needed, and receive one-on-one assistance. Main Street provides transportation to their center if needed.

Madison County Health Department is a provider of social and health care services in Madison County.

The program provides subsidized rental housing along with MCCD's case management support. Assistance in the form of food vouchers, tuition, rent, transportation, childcare, health care, home furnishings and furniture is provided to support the individuals’ efforts to overcome the barriers to self-sufficiency.

The Edwardsville Township provides numerous services to the community such as temporary
financial assistance, rental assistance, utility assistance, and senior services.

A Health Center Program that provides preventative medicine and encourage annual physical exams, gynecological care, immunization updates and cancer screenings. They provide health care to children and adults, and treat colds, flus, and infections while also ongoing medical conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes. Mental and behavioral health care services and support are also available.
