Edwardsville Library Friends

The Edwardsville Library Friends (ELFs) are people who know the value of books and information. They understand the importance of reading, lifetime learning, and personal growth, and they are dedicated to providing whatever is required to keep the Edwardsville Library up to date and well-equipped to meet the diverse needs of its many patrons.

One of the ELFs’ main projects is the operation of Carnegie's, the used book and gift shop across from the Library's circulation desk. ELFs are involved in every aspect of Carnegie's, including staffing the counter, sorting book donations, selecting gift items to sell and scheduling volunteers. Money raised through ELF projects help fund a wide variety of items and projects, such as special entertainment for the annual summer reading program.

We are asking you to help us continue our work by donating again this year. Your annual donation, along with everyone else’s, adds up and helps us continue to fund special library projects and to provide the extras that make our library exceptional. We are now officially a 501(c)(3), a not-for-profit corporation.
