The winning entry will be featured on our website, and the author will receive a terror-rific prize. Be your subject ghosts, cryptids, aliens, or the perils of reality, we want to read what you've got! Please read & follow the guidelines below:

Contest Eligibility:

• The contest is open to any Edwardsville resident or student at an Edwardsville school ages 12-18.

• Stories must be 2,000 words or less.
  
• Stories must be originally created by the contestant.
• One entry per person.
• To keep stories anonymous for judging:
  • Do not put your name on the story itself.
  • The title of the story must appear at the top of page 1.
  • The title of the story should be the name of the file you submit.
• We prefer that stories be typed, but if you're unable to type it, that's okay!
• Stories must be entered by October 25.
