Social Media Ambassador

If you’re a fan of the Edwardsville Public Library and would like to help us extend our reach into the community, we’d like to invite you to become an #EPLAmbassador! Our social media ambassadors raise awareness of the Library through social media by spreading the word about what they love about EPL.

Becoming an EPL Ambassador is easy and no application is necessary. Here's what you need to do:

  • Agree to follow us on Facebook and/or Instagram and help us spread the word by sharing, liking and commenting on our posts.
  • If you'd like to, you can create your own posts and share what you love about the Library. Talk about or share pictures from a program/event, what you’re reading, or a book/DVD you’ve checked out that you love. Tag us in your posts @edwardsvillelibrary and use the hashtag #EPLAmbassador.
  • Join our EPL Social Media Ambassadors Facebook Group. We will be posting information about new services, materials, and events before we let the general community know. We anticipate opportunities to try out some of our new services and additions to our collection before others so that you can help us spread excitement by sharing your experiences.
  • By participating in this program you are agreeing to follow our Social Media Policy.

Guest Presenter

Programs and presentations at the library are great opportunities for members of our community to share their expertise and experiences with an audience. Historical researchers, world travelers, home gardeners, and many more have shared their stories in our large community room. If you think your research or experience would benefit the community we’d love to have a conversation with you. Please call us (618) 692-7556, ext. 6 so we can discuss your idea.
