We’re collecting eclipse glasses to send to Latin America for children there to be able to watch a solar eclipse happening later this year. Just bring them to the Edwardsville Library and we’ll take care of getting them sent off!

Spring into summer with a new bike! March 1 - April 30
We are excited to announce our second annual Books for Bikes reading challenge, sponsored by JewelRide, Edwardsville’s own local medical transport company, as well as The Cyclery & Fitness Center, Thompson Flaherty and YCG Accounting, BJ’s Printables, and Dr. Hyten Dental. Kids in Grades K-8 are eligible to participate. By reading & logging books, you can earn up to 20 entries to our raffle, in which 15 bikes will be awarded to lucky readers!

As part of our upcoming National Library Week celebration, we are hosting a 2024 EPL Keepsake Bookmark Contest again this year for children 5-11 years old. It's easy to enter! Just pick up a blank paper template in the Youth Library or follow the simple instructions here.
